About

I currently oversee Brand and Design at Policygenius. Here I have developed a vision and strategy for the brand, ensuring Policygenius follows a consistent visual identity across marketing collateral, offline branding, and digital products. I also built out and manage the brand team's in-house design function. Policygenius is a leading online insurance marketplace with a mission to help people get insurance right by making it easy for them to understand insurance options, compare quotes, and buy a policy, all in one place.

Prior to this I led brand design at theSkimm, one of the most popular and influential media companies among millennials. I worked collaboratively with sales, marketing, editorial and product teams as well our co-founders to ensure brand consistency, inspire creative thinking, and manage project prioritization. At theSkimm, I established and developed the company’s brand identity over 4+ years as theSkimm evolved from a singular product to a membership-based company with over a dozen sub-brands and products. In 2019, I served as creative director for theSkimm’s first book, How to Skimm Your Life, which became a #1 New York Times Bestseller. Additionally, I’ve led the creative direction for robust brand campaigns, including the “No Excuses” campaign – a six-month multi-platform initiative that succeeded in registering 200,000 voters in the 2018 Midterm Election. I oversaw theSkimm’s rebrand that launched in Spring of 2020 and led the company’s executives and co-founders through the comprehensive process over the course of 8 months. I built out theSkimm’s internal design team from 1 to 7 designers. I am most proud of the team culture, design principles and best practices we built together. In acknowledgement of my leadership role at theSkimm, I was selected as a 2019 Digiday Future Leader Finalist, which recognizes the next generation of leaders in media and marketing.

Previous job experiences include working at branding agency Odgis + Co, Apple, Vogue and Quirky.

I earned a BFA in Graphic Design at The Cooper Union in New York, one of the most intensive design schools in the U.S. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, running, traveling to new cities and beaches, and doing just about anything with my five pound Pomeranian by my side.
